Michael Kors opens European flagship store in Regent Street

Luxury clothing brand Michael Kors has today opened its European flagship store at one of the UK’s most iconic shopping streets.

The new 16,725 sq ft store at Regent Street, in London’s West End, is the global fashion brand’s largest in Europe and joins the likes of Apple and toy shop Hamleys in the capital’s world-famous shopping district.

Spread over three floors, the new outlet is fitted with brushed stainless steel, Venetian wallpaper and Calacutta marble fixtures, and will stock every category of product from the Michael Kors range, including clothing, handbags, leather goods and watches.

Following the launch, Michael Kors spoke about London’s credentials as a fashion capital and commented: “London is one of the world’s great fashion cities and an endless source of inspiration for me personally. I’m thrilled to be opening a beautiful new flagship on Regent Street that represents everything we do and offers our customers the full world of Michael Kors.”

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Jon D. Idol, added: “Our Regent Street flagship illustrates the evolution of the Michael Kors brand and the scope of our commitment to the business in Europe. This new European flagship enables us to present the full range of our luxury offering, including our exciting and fast-growing menswear line.”
