AMT Vehicle Rental supports Wetherby Races
Leeds-headquartered vehicle rentals business AMT is supporting Wetherby Racecourse by providing high spec utility vehicles for the entire 2016 season’s racing.
The company will provide pick-up trucks, MPVs or people carriers to transport the race vet and doctor around the track at Wetherby’s 20 fixtures throughout the year. AMT will also have a display showcasing a selection of its luxury, prestige and specialist vehicles at many of the racecourse’s high profile meetings and it will be hosting its own race day in the autumn.
Andy Crinson, general manager of AMT Vehicle Rental, said: “As a Yorkshire business, we’re happy to support such a great local amenity. Wetherby has a long heritage in the sport as one of the country’s leading jumping tracks and has recently started summer flat racing which they hope to develop in the future. With many of our customers keen racegoers who also appreciate style off the track, joining forces with Wetherby Racecourse is a perfect fit.” Jonjo Sanderson, chief executive of Wetherby Racecourse said: “This is a really exciting partnership. AMT has established itself as a well-known name in premium car rental and we’re pleased to link up with such a prestigious and fast grown business.”
AMT Vehicle Rental serves both the corporate and leisure markets, focussing on prestige and sports performance cars, electric and hybrid models; plus people carriers, MPVs, double cabs and pick-ups, many with tow bars. Vehicles are available to rent from just one day to six months or longer. As well as private individuals, customers include accident and fleet management providers; insurance and utility companies; local authorities and emergency services; and hospitality and travel businesses.
Established in 1995, Leeds-headquartered AMT Group is a privately owned business which offers a complete automotive solution via its vehicle rental; short term lease; contract hire and leasing; and specialist cars divisions.
