Leading Estate Agent Expands Into Morley

YORKSHIRE’S largest independent estate agent Dacre, Son & Hartley has expanded its 20 strong office network and launched a new branch in Morley town centre.

The new office is in a prominent position on Queen Street and is headed up by Wakefield man Gavin Townsend, with plans in place to grow the team over the coming months.

The new branch will initially specialise in residential sales, before expanding into lettings next year, and is offering the first 50 vendors that market properties through the office sales fees of just 0.75% with a minimum fee of £840 including VAT. In addition, clients will be able to take advantage of Dacre, Son & Hartley’s surveying and financial services offerings.

Gavin says: “I’ve lived locally my whole life and know this area extremely well. Morley has a very active property market and offers a huge spectrum of housing stock ranging from first time buyer homes through to large family properties in the surrounding areas of Gildersome, Tong, Drighlington and Upper Batley.

“Dacre, Son & Hartley is a very well-respected estate agency brand with a strong presence throughout West and North Yorkshire. Our vendors will benefit from this wide reach as well as our extensive website which attracts more than 1000 unique visitors every single day. When this is combined with our discounted introductory offers and free no obligation market appraisals, it gives us a very strong offering to anyone considering selling their home in Morley and its surrounding towns and villages.”

Patrick McCutcheon, head of residential sales at Dacre, Son & Hartley says: “This new office will complement our branch network throughout the region. Morley is a thriving town and an ideal location for Dacres to establish a strong foothold to the south of Leeds. Our ethos is all about high standards of service and effectively marketing homes to the widest possible audience and this will play a key role in the success of this new office.”
