Bolton based gas and plumbing services company, BHE Services, solidifies its commitment to training and service excellence by giving something back to Gas Engineer trainees.

Partnering with the Yorkshire based gas training company, BTC Training Centre, BHE provides work experience for trainees through a mentoring programme delivered by the company’s skilled workforce.

One recent BTC trainee to benefit from the partnership is Grant Hacking, previously a motorbike mechanic and now training to be a gas engineer. Grant’s time at BHE Services enables him to complete a 30 day on-site programme to complete a portfolio of evidence - a mandatory requirement to become a qualified Gas Engineer

During his work placement Grant will be assisting the company’s gas maintenance team with gas central heating installation, servicing, and maintenance work throughout the North West for housing associations, businesses, and households.

Martin Howell, General Manager at BHE Services Says: “We have a stable workforce of 48 engineers and are able and more than willing to give something back to the industry to help those who want to pursue a career as a Gas Engineer. BTC have always done particularly well with our team and when we are able we will continue to support their trainees through mentoring them to be the very best they can be.”
