Six new hires for the One team
Integrated communications agency, One, has strengthened its team with six new starters across the agency after a string of new business wins, seeing the agency grow by a staggering 12 per cent since the beginning of the year.
Claire Keegan and Natalie Yemm join the brand team as senior account manager and senior account executive respectively.
Keegan joins from Clock Creative, where she worked on accounts including Lime Management and Polypipe. Yemm joins from Manchester-based agency, Dinosaur.
Claire Keegan comments: “I am delighted to be joining One at a time when the agency is experiencing rapid growth. It’s definitely a case of no two days are the same and with some very exciting projects in the pipeline, I am very much looking forward to getting stuck in and taking the lead on developing strategy for a number of our clients.”
The PR and Social team also gains two new additions with the appointment of Saul Bush as content executive and Usman Aziz joining as junior PR account executive. Bush’s appointment is in response to the fast-changing demand for content in the digital landscape.
Speaking about the raft of new appointments and service offering, Wayne Silver, managing director at One, said: “With a number of facets of an integrated agency overlapping, we felt that this was the perfect time to create a role to create a connection between not only our PR and social disciplines, but also our digital and brand teams within the agency.”
This has also been a time of expansion for the agency’s creative team with Lorraine Howting joining as senior creative artworker to further strengthens the agency’s creative offering. Her appointment comes shortly after the news that Peter Davis has stepped into the role as Creative Director, with Peter Johnston takes on a creative consultant role at One.
Wayne adds: “Our recent growth follows a number of client wins here at One, including international furniture fittings specialist, Blum, housing organisation One Manchester and Cornerstone, the credit union service organisation, and we are delighted to welcome the new faces to the team.
