Crown Worldwide, the global logistics group, is strengthening its office design and fit-out business, Crown Workplace Relocations, with the appointment of a new division lead to take the company to the next stage in its development.
Shaun Baker has been appointed as Head of Crown Workplace Relocations, with a remit to spearhead the company’s rapid growth in the workplace consultancy, space planning, design and fit-out sector.
Reporting into Barry Koolen, Managing Director UKINE, Crown Worldwide, Shaun will lead the development of Crown Workplace Relocations, taking overall responsibility for the strategic direction and financial performance of the business. He will be based at the business’ London offices.
Barry Koolen, Regional Managing Director at parent company Crown Worldwide, commented: “Businesses are seeking to gain a competitive edge from attracting and retaining the best talent and recognise the vital role the design of their office space plays in optimising business performance.
“Shaun’s impressive track record will complement and further enhance the Crown Workplace Relocations offer, supporting organisations to utilise their workspaces to improve productivity and future-proof their business.”
Shaun brings a wealth of experience to the role, with 30 years in the design, architectural and interiors sector, most recently holding senior management positions at Oktra and prior to that at Morgan Lovell.
Shaun added: “This is an exciting time for workplace design with so many different factors shaping the way in which companies can make the most effective use of their office space. Technological advances, changes to working patterns, employee wellbeing and the war for talent – these are issues that affect every organisation and businesses.
