Be Wiser Insurance supports Hampshire PGA

Hampshire-based Be Wiser Insurance is supporting two key golfing tournaments in the county this summer as it drives to showcases its brand to new audiences in 2016.

The fast-growing insurance broker is sponsoring the Strokeplay Championship in June and the Masters Championship in August in a move marketing director Andrew Dunkerley said would enable Be Wiser to reach even wider audiences than ever before.

“As a company we are involved in a wide range of sporting events from the British Superbikes through to badminton, Championship football and now golf,’’ said Andrew. “These high profile events are a good opportunity to extend our sponsorship of sport and enable more people to learn about Be Wiser Insurance.”

The company supported the Strokeplay Championship last year and Andrew said he was pleased to increase involvement for 2016.

Roger Tuddenham, secretary of the PGA in Hampshire said he was delighted that Be Wiser will continue as a partner.

“To have the backing of a hugely successful company very much based in Hampshire is a real boost for professional golf in the county,’’ said Roger. “We hope to have two exciting and high quality events to reflect the top class standards both organisations strive to portray in their day to day business.”
