Kent housebuilder scoops national award

Kent housebuilder David Wilson Homes has scooped a national award after creating the perfect family home in Charing.

The company picked up the Highly Commended Best Family Home Award at the Evening Standard’s New Home Awards 2016 for its four-bedroom ‘Pine’ house at Poppy Fields. It’s yet another accolade for the firm, which in March was awarded a maximum five-star rating by the Home Builders Federation for the seventh consecutive year.

The Evening Standard New Homes Awards were celebrating their 25th Anniversary with a record number of entries and competition was high. The most coveted in the housebuilding industry, the awards are judged independently by a panel of property experts and Evening Standard readers with entries from developers and architects alike.
