Leading North West accountants and business advisors Cowgill Holloway have joined forces with NatWest, JMW and I-COM to provide expert advice to business owners in the recruitment sector at an event to be held in June.
The event, which will be held at the NatWest’s Royal Bank of Scotland building in Manchester, will give business owners an insight into how to maximise the value in their recruitment business.
Each of the guest speakers will approach the topic of maximising the value of a recruitment business from their own field of expertise.
Cowgill Holloway’s Corporate Finance Partner, Paul Stringer will offer insight as to how business owners in the recruitment industry can grow their business and discuss key points when considering an exit strategy.
Anna Gibbons, Head of Client Recruitment at I-COM will explain how stakeholders’ perceptions can influence the value of a company, and how to effectively position yourself in the marketplace.
Liz Cotton, Partner at JMW will provide advice and practical tips on protecting your business from a departing employee.
Recruitment businesses in the room will be advised on how to begin preparing a business prior to sale, how to deal with and understand the tax and accounting implications, as well as an expert overview on how to manage your wealth following the sale of the business.
Following the informative presentations there will be a question and answer session for attendees to gain more specific information on elements of the various points raised.
Speaking about the event, Cowgill Holloway’s, Paul Stringer said: “We have lots of clients in the recruitment industry, all through the stages of their business lifecycle. With each of these clients we always ensure they’re planning in advance, you cannot think about an exit strategy too early.
“This event is a great chance for us to share some of our knowledge and experience with those in the recruitment sector. We’ve seen many businesses become very successful in the industry, and will impart this expertise to attendees.”
The event will take place on Tuesday 14 June at NatWest’s Royal Bank of Scotland Building, in Spinningfields Square, Manchester from 12pm – 3pm with lunch provided. This event is exclusive to business owners in the recruitment sector – to reserve your place visit Cowgill Holloway’s website.
