Next announces October opening of north Sheffield store at Fox Valley
Next, the fashion and homewares retailer, is set to open a brand new north Sheffield store at the £50m Fox Valley development later this year.
The new Fox Valley Next store will cover 15,000 sq. ft. over two floors and will stock a range of men’s, women’s and children’s fashions as well as the brand’s homewares department.
Founded in 1982, Next now has more than 520 stores across the UK.
The retailer’s Fox Valley store will open in October in a second phase of store openings which will follow the centre’s launch on June 16th.
The boutique department store Sandersons is scheduled to open in September.
The new Next store will be housed in one of the larger retail units at Fox Valley, where it will join a host of other high street retailers including Pets at Home, Regatta, Edinburgh Woollen Mills, M&Co and Seasalt.
A Next spokesperson said: “We’re very excited to be expanding our store portfolio in Sheffield. This exciting new store at Fox Valley will give people to the north of Sheffield a diverse and exciting shopping experience.”
Mark Dransfield, managing director of Dransfield Properties, added: “It’s fantastic news that Next will be joining our line-up here at Fox Valley. Next is definitely one of the names which shoppers tell us they want to see here and the new store is going to be a great attraction when it opens in October.
“We want Fox Valley to be a really unique retail experience and that’s something we’ve sought to reflect in the architecture as well as the range of stores, restaurants and coffee shops we’re attracting.”
