QPR secure new shirt sponsor for next season
Championship side Queens Park Rangers have signed a new shirt sponsorship agreement with sports betting exchange Smarkets.
As part of the one-year deal, the Smarkets brand will feature on QPR’s home, away and third kits for the 2016/17 season.
Euan Inglis, QPR’s commercial director, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Smarkets have upgraded from their designation from last season to become our lead partner for the 2016/17 season.
“We have really enjoyed working with Smarkets and look forward to developing new initiatives on top of what has previously been implemented.”
He added: “Revealing our new kit at Smarkets’ new offices in St Katharine Docks later this month further demonstrates the club’s desire to engage with our official partners at every opportunity.”
Jason Trost, the CEO and founder of London-based Smarkets, said the company is pleased to extend and expand its partnership with the Rs.
He commented: “We look forward to the new campaign with a club that shares our aspirations and places its supporters at the heart of the action.”
QPR’s shirts for the 2016/17 season are due to be unveiled at the end of June.
