Seven Dials welcomes International fashion retailer to London’s West End

Seven Dials is set to add clothing retailer Kit and Ace to its lineup of brands on Monmouth Street, in the heart of London’s West End.

Shaftesbury, which owns a real estate portfolio extending to 14 acres in the heart of London’s West End, announced that the new store will open on July 14.

Located at 15 Monmouth Street, the Vancouver-based retailer is moving into a new site spanning more than 1,700 sq. ft.

Kit and Ace is currently has nearly 60 locations across North America, Australia, the United Kingdom and Japan.

Founded in 2014 by Shannon and JJ Wilson, Kit and Ace offers technical apparel made from proprietary fabrics, like Technical Cashmere and Technical Silk.

Sam Bain-Mollison, head of group retail strategy and letting at Shaftesbury, said: “Seven Dials continues to flourish with the addition of modern, international fashion brands that are hard to find elsewhere in London.

“Kit and Ace will be in great company amongst recently opened sportswear brands Ron Dorff and the upcoming fitness destination Another_Space, both of which are UK debuts.”

JJ Wilson, co-founder and head of brand at Kit and Ace, added: “We’re excited to open our fourth location in the UK, and our first permanent showroom in West London. Seven Dials has a great mix of retailers and is the perfect location for us.”

Kit and Ace becomes the latest in a lineup of brands to choose Seven Dials as a store location in the last six months, including Fresh, Nixon, Le Labo, Ron Dorff and Another_Space.
