Swanky Malone opens second salon in Baltic Triangle
Hairdressers Swanky Malone has unveiled its newest venture in the heart of Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle.
Aptly named Swanky Malone Downtown, the unisex salon on Jamaica Street is the result of a five figure sum investment and offers a unique experience courtesy of its innovative team of staff and throwback interior décor.
It officially opens its doors just two years after the original site was created in St Mary’s Road in Garston.
Director Cameron Stananought said: “Due to unprecedented demand, we’ve decided to take the Swanky Malone concept and replicate it in the form of Swanky Malone Downtown. We’re offering the same services as before but in the heart of the city centre, making it easier for our clients from across the North West to access our services.
“For me, it’s all about taking hairdressing back to its roots and focusing on second-to-none customer service. For example, our ’Word from the Bird’ consultation is complimentary – we believe that investing our time into our customers creates the most desirable outcome, and that’s what we’re all about. We want to create a completely novel experience from the moment you walk through the door.“
Headed by Cameron, 25, who trained at Andrew Collinge and used his skills whilst travelling across Australia, each of Swanky Malone’s stylists have been trained to the highest standards, specialising in colour and advanced cutting techniques.
With treatments including ‘The Boss’ (straightforward blow-dry), ‘Made in the Shade’ (full head of tint) and ‘Madison Avenue’ (men’s wash, cut and style), the salon offers a wide range of services for both men and women.
Cameron added: “The whole aesthetic of the salon was inspired by my love for all things 1920’s combined with a penchant for gangster films – our décor is a real nod to times gone by and I love that our customers can experience something a bit different when they visit us. It’s certainly rewarding to see our concept come to life in the city centre.“
