Everton reveal plans for summer upgrade at Goodison Park
Everton FC have revealed plans to deliver a series of upgrades to the exterior of Goodison Park this summer.
The club are set to add new cladding to the corners of the ground, along with fresh exterior lighting and imagery banners on three sides of the stadium.
On Thursday evening (June 9), the Blues consulted residents of the area surrounding Goodison over the proposals, ahead of the submission of a formal planning application.
The plans will also seek approval for the Toffees’ Holy Trinity statue. If approved, the statue will be installed next season.
In addition to the exterior makeover, Everton will also continue their branding work on the stadium’s concourses, following the completion of a successful first phase of the project last year.
Last month, Everton scrapped plans to build a new stadium at Walton Hall Park, confirming two brownfield sites in Liverpool as potential locations for their new home.
