Ginger Tree recognised at National Awards
The national BABTAC and CIBTAC awards are held annually at a prestigious London venue to celebrate the beauty, hair and holistic industry. Local salon owner Kathy Scott, of Ginger Tree Beauty, was there as a finalist in the Small Salon of the Year Category.
Ginger Tree Holistic Health and Beauty is based in the tranquil grounds of Aske Hall, just outside of Richmond. Ginger Tree has fast established itself as one of the leading salons in the area with clients travelling from across Yorkshire and beyond to receive a wide range of innovative treatments specialising in skin care and wellbeing.
This year’s James Bond themed event was held at the prestigious London private members club, the Hurlingham Club. Set in 42 acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of London the awards welcomed finalists from across the country to celebrate their achievements.
The awards, which is open to all 12 thousand BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) members, is a showcase of talent and each finalist is rigorously judged. Ginger Tree was inspected to make sure the salon offered the highest quality of treatments as well as service to become a finalist in these prestigious awards.
Although the Small Salon category was eventually won by Mimosa Beauty Salon in Essex, being the only Yorkshire finalist in the category was a huge achievement for Ginger Tree Health and Beauty.
Speaking of this fantastic recognition salon owner Kathy Scott said: “We had a wonderful evening celebrating the achievements of so many fantastic businesses. We met such lovely welcoming people from other businesses from all over the UK. I am absolutely thrilled to have been part of this evening and to have been a finalist for this prestigious award.”
