Dreamr at the Skills for Business Awards
Triple shortlisting leads to win
Dreamr was proud to be shortlisted in three categories at Thursday’s prestigious Skills for Business Awards, at a gala dinner held at The Point, Lancashire Cricket Club.
App development and design agency Dreamr’s massive investment in developing its team was recognised by three appearances in the Skills for Business Awards shortlist. These awards are supported by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, and Pearson.
Head of Aspiration, Lynne Makinson-Walsh was shortlisted in the Learning and Skills Champion category, Mylo Kaye, co-founder of Dreamr featured in the Entrepreneur category and Dreamr was included in the Creative, Media and Digital Technology Skills for Business Award shortlist.
Dreamr was successful in scooping the Creative, Media and Digital Technology Skills for Business Award, won last year by UK Fast.
Mylo Kaye commented: “We were thrilled and overwhelmed actually, to be shortlisted in three categories, and to win is the icing on the cake. We are a growing business, with all the demands which that entails. Our people are our biggest investment, so it’s been super-important for us to do everything we possibly can to develop our people, and that’s why Lynne is here to support me and the whole team. This recognition will spur us on to accelerate that development, enabling our Dreamrs to achieve even more.”
Dreamr is also shortlisted for Most Innovative Application of Technology at the Big Chip Awards, alongside Athletec and the winners will be announced at a grand event at Manchester’s Midland Hotel on June 23rd.
