Mattress firm Eve Sleep to set up East London Nap Station

In a bid to help London’s workforce get a proper amount of sleep, a memory foam mattress firm has revealed plans to launch a dedicated Nap Station in East London.

Eve Sleep Ltd is setting up the snooze centre at the Old Truman Brewery this summer, combining a mix of café and workspace to allow Londoners to supercharge their productivity levels.

According to Eve Sleep’s website, the Nap Station will feature nap pods for use on an hourly basis, as well as communal workstations, coffee and free WiFi.

Speaking to The Independent, an Eve spokesperson said: “With more than 10k Londoners airing their despair about a lack of decent sleep on Twitter every month, The Nap Station offers everyone the chance to reap the benefits of a quick daytime nap.”

According to Eve, the daytime napping trend has already taking off in the US, with multinationals such as Google, Apple and Nike endorsing the practice.

The Nap Station will launch Friday June 16 and be available until July 10.
