Local business group celebrates £1 million milestone
BNI Hooton, a Cheshire group of worldwide word-of-mouth referral marketing organisation Business Network International, has passed the £1m mark in business generated within the group in the last 12 months, and is celebrating with a special visitors’ evening.
From June 2015 to May 2016, members of the group have helped each other to generate £1,037,474 worth of actual invoiced and paid-for business, and the organisation is putting on a celebratory event at the Lexus Chester showroom near Cheshire Oaks on Wednesday 6th July to mark the milestone.
Opening at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start, guests will be able to enjoy cheese, wine and non-alcoholic drinks at the showroom in an event sure to be useful for local business professionals looking to network and build contacts as they join in the celebration of local business success. Tickets will cost £10 per head and includes all refreshments.
Breaking the £1m barrier is the latest in a succession of recent achievements for BNI Hooton, which completed its fifth year of operation in April and also welcomed its 100th different member earlier this year.
Wayne Taylor, BNI Hooton Director and Business Sales Specialist at the Lexus dealership at Cheshire Oaks, said:
“We’re really proud to have reached seven figures in business thanked for in the space of a year, and we believe it demonstrates the immense value of being a BNI Hooton member.
“We invite all local professionals to make an appearance at our upcoming celebration, and we’re sure it will aptly demonstrate what we do for businesses in the area.“
BNI Hooton meets regularly on Wednesday mornings from 7:00-8:30am at the Mercure Woodhey Hotel in Little Sutton.
For an invitation to the Visitors’ Evening on Wednesday 6th July, or to attend one of the other Wednesday meetings, businesses are invited to contact Wayne on 07887 954939 or Gill Taylor on 07828 000580.
