Restaurateur Adam White to create new 330-cover venue at Nova Victoria
A new restaurant and bar called Rail House Café is set to open in London’s Nova development later this year.
Adam White, the managing director and co-founder of restaurant operator Village London Central, confirmed plans to create the new Victoria venue and expand a dining portfolio that already includes Village East in Bermondsey and The Riding House Café in Fitzrovia
As with previous Village London Central sites Adam will spearhead the design project, working with the company’s manufacturing partners on furniture and interiors to soften the Nova’s scheme’s existing glass and concrete space.
When it opens this September, the 330-cover Rail House Café will include a ground-floor eating and drinking area along with an upstairs bar and private dining room.
Additionally, the restaurant will have an outdoor area with space for 90 guests.
Discussing the opening, Village London Central MD Adam said: “Rail House Café is the evolved concept of the Riding House Café.
“It will have parallels in that it’s a modern international brasserie with an exciting and fun evening offer, but it will also have its own identity.”
He continued: “We wanted to get away from the trend for over-designed restaurants and create a relaxed, municipal space that people will feel comfortable in.
“Nova will be providing a real hub for Victoria and we are proud to be at the heart of it.”
