Meridian brings specialist health expertise to Newcastle
~~National recruitment specialist, Meridian Business Support, has announced the expansion of its office in Newcastle-upon-Tyne with the introduction of a new team specialising in recruitment for the health sector. The team, headed up by Carl Murphy, also includes Jackie Collins and Sheryl O’Connell. Such is the early demand for their services that they are already recruiting for a fourth team member. Meridian Business Support has a nationwide network of 66 branches offering a range of specialisms including health, construction, office and professional and industrial. Speaking about the new health team, Carl Murphy said, “Newcastle is a vibrant city with a significant number of health organisations ranging from NHS and private hospitals to GP and dentist practices. “Our purpose is to help these organisations to find the right people, be that for temporary or permanent vacancies. “We are already working with a number of healthcare providers in the area. The range of vacancies we fill is very broad from all levels of admin and clerical staff through to non-medical and non-clinical staff.” Meridian’s Newcastle office is located in Cloth Market and is already well known in the area for providing recruitment to the industrial sector.
