Fulcrum wins £1.4m gas pipeline contract in partnership with British Gas
Fulcrum Utility Services Limited, the Sheffield-based independent multi-utility infrastructure and services provider, has secured a significant new gas pipeline contract in partnership with British Gas.
The £1.4m contract for Fulcrum will see the installation of over two kilometres of gas pipeline infrastructure to a new manufacturing plant in the north east of England.
Fulcrum will adopt, own and operate the pipeline after its construction, adding it to the company’s growing asset base. Work is scheduled to start in late summer 2016.
Martin Donnachie, chief executive officer of Fulcrum, said: “The award of this significant gas pipeline project in partnership with British Gas is another example of the successful relationship we have developed with them.
“It also reinforces Fulcrum’s position as the utility services provider of choice for major developments across the UK and is in line with our plans for FY2017.”
