Hull DIY retailer expands to Bishop Auckland creating 16 new jobs
MKM Building Supplies, a one stop shop for all things DIY, has branched out to Bishop Auckland creating 16 new jobs for the region in the process.
In line with its plans to grow its UK network, the Hull-based business is further rolling out its kitchen and bathroom showroom offering, as well as its array of building, plumbing and heating, roofing, timber, landscaping, insulation and hardware supplies.
Founded in 1995, the firm’s new base in Bishop Auckland has been designed to cater for both trade and the public.
John Beck, one of two Branch Directors for Bishop Auckland, said: “The whole team at MKM Bishop Auckland are blown away by the local support we have received upon opening the branch.
“We are looking forward to developing long-term relationships with both the trade and public in the area, based on the quality of our offering and of course, the excellent customer service for which MKM is renowned nationally.”
