QPR announce major new kit sponsorship deal
Championship side Queens Park Rangers have announced they have signed a two-year sponsorship deal with foreign exchange firm Land-FX.
The deal, which was brokered by marketing firm Sports Media Gaming, will see the FX brokerage company’s logo appearing on the team’s shorts, the back of their shirts and on their training kits.
Senior Relations Manager at Land-FX, Shashi Patel, said: “Having just successfully acquired our FCA license, we are very proud to be partnering QPR who offer us a unique platform to target our key markets.
“We plan to actively promote the partnership with a number of key initiatives and we are anticipating a very successful cooperation.”
It is the second sponsorship deal revealed this summer by the the west London club, who finished 12th in the 2015/16 SkyBet Championship last year, following the one-year deal with sports betting exchange Smarkets who will feature on the front of the team’s home, away and third strips.
The new sponsors will replace current sponsors Airasia, the airline of Tony Fernandes, the club’s owner, as QPR plot a return to the Premier League at the second time of asking after a disappointing season last year.
