Blackburn’s CWV Wallcoverings targets global audience with new ecommerce platform
Wallpaper supplier CWV Wallcoverings has expanded its online presence with the launch of a new ecommerce platform.
The Blackburn-based firm is hoping to bring British wallpaper brands Crown, Vymura and Coloroll to a global audience through its new website, Inspired Wallpaper.
The minds behind the online portal, which includes a content hub, How To guides and a magazine-style Inspire Me section, plan to release a new collection every season
CWV’s managing director, Steve Mulheron, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of www.inspiredwallpaper.com which recognises the growing importance that e-commerce plays in our everyday lives in the UK and internationally.
“We are particularly proud that the whole concept was created, developed and born by the team at CWV wallcoverings in partnership with leading Lancashire agencies in website creation, digital promotion and consumer PR.”
He continued: “As a growing business, additional roles have been created in e-commerce and export. We have recently recruited an experienced export sales manager and the website will complement our international business development and raise brand awareness.
“Of course, the website also recognises the importance of the Crown brand and its role in the development of the wallcovering industry in Darwen back in the late 1800s.”
