DCS expands team with new appointment
Boston Spa-based IT providers, Deans Computer Services (DCS), has expanded its business development team with the appointment of Alex Vokes as sales executive.
Alex brings a wealth of experience in IT and sales across a wide range of industries, from engineering to manufacturing. He is the latest member of a five-strong team based at head office and will be overseeing sales of all DCS products and services, including a comprehensive range of business software, IT support and installation, offices supplies and networking systems.
DCS managing director, Patrick Clayton, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Alex to DCS. We serve a wide variety of sectors and Alex has also operated across a broad range of sectors, so this position is a natural progression for his career.”
“Alex will be a dynamic presence in driving sales across the DCS portfolio, including new launches such as WebShop from Aphix Software, Sage 200 Extra online software, DESlock data encryption, digital signage from Signagelive, ERP from Intact and business finance and payroll from Pegasus Opera.”
Alex lives with his wife, Clare, in Harrogate and enjoys motorcycling, mountain biking and going for long walks in the wonderful Yorkshire countryside with his Spanish Water Dog, Pablo.
