INNSIDE by Melia Manchester announce Sale Sharks partnership
INNSIDE by Melia Manchester and Aviva Premiership rugby club Sale Sharks have announced a joint partnership.
It comes after Manchester-based CorpAcq, controlled by Simon Orange, bought Sale Sharks from long-term owner Brian Kennedy last month.
As part of the deal INNSIDE Manchester’s brand will feature on the lower back of the Sale Sharks home and away shirts.
General Manager Adam Munday said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Sale Sharks Rugby Club.
“The club, like our brand, is really growing and we are looking forward to working together.”
He added: “Myself and other members of my team have attended a few games this season and have spent some time in the Mark Cueto Executive Club, inside the AJ Bell Stadium, before and after both Premiership and European matches.
“We are also really excited about the plans the new owners CorpAcq have for the club. It’s an exciting time for Sale Sharks, INNSIDE Manchester and for the sport of rugby in our region too.”
CorpAcq is a Manchester-based corporate acquisitions and investment company.
Simon Orange said he intended to take Sale Sharks ‘to another level’ shortly after announcing CorpAcq had acquired the club last week.
The news also follows the appointment of three new managers at INNSIDE Manchester, which coincided with the hotel’s one-year anniversary.
