A LITTLE BIRD acquires The Brandsphere
A LITTLE BIRD, the integrated strategy and brand development agency, today announces it has hired Rob Tammaro and in association acquired his agency The Brandsphere, the specialist brand solutions agency.
The move broadens A LITTLE BIRD’s capabilities in strategy and planning and is part of the agency’s plan to continue up-weighting its multi-platform, brand building credentials.
The Brandsphere developed a reputation for heavy-lifting, strategic brand initiatives for global businesses including EY, Jumeirah International, Costa Coffee, Pret A Manger, Capita, Exterion Media and Kantar Media.
Rob Tammaro takes the role of head of strategy and planning, and will work in tandem with creative director James-Lee Duffy. Based in London, he will initially work on the Bacardi and Wolverine accounts and report to Ed Wood, CEO and Tim Solano, managing partner.
Ed Wood, CEO at A LITTLE BIRD said: “Our acquisition of The Brandsphere highlights our ambitious plans. The Brandsphere gained a market leadership reputation in its area and bringing Rob and his team’s firepower into A LITTLE BIRD is the first in a series of key investments that will allow us to grow and compete with the biggest agency names on some of the biggest, most demanding briefs. We’re committed to providing excellence for all our clients on multi-platform brand building initiatives and this acquisition is a significant step towards that.
“Rob is one of those rare people who brings a whole mix of skills to the table. He shares the entrepreneurial spirit that underpins A LITTLE BIRD. Earlier in his career he worked as a creative director before moving into strategy and planning. All too often planning and creative become disconnected along the way, but Rob will act as a brilliant guardian of the process so that we deliver the best thinking to our clients. We are delighted to have him on board.”
Rob Tammaro adds: “Joining a new agency is never an easy decision to make but A LITTLE BIRD and I share a vision and I sense that my team’s culture and skills align so perfectly with where A LITTLE BIRD is heading that it made perfect sense to team up on this exciting journey. I look forward to heading up A LITTLE BIRD’s strategy and planning department and being part of the management team that helps deliver on its ambitions.”
