Darkstar Laser adds new dimension to gaming
With the summer holidays fast approaching, Darkstar Laser is encouraging youngsters to swap game-stations for ‘real life action-packed adventure’.
Located on Central Street in St Helens, the UK’s largest indoor laser tag venue is set to provide a high- adrenaline experience, in a bid to offer a refreshing alternative to static gaming.
In line with a recent study which states that the UK is home to the sixth largest video game market worldwide, director of Darkstar Laser Lynn Ben-Yousef is helping parents to minimise ‘screen time’ and battle the boredom over the six-week break.
Lynn said: “As video game usage continues to rise due to ever-evolving online and mobile platforms, many parents are concerned over their children’s time spent in front of television and computer screens.
“In order to combine active game play with increased social interaction, our multi-level ’hex’ laser tag arena enables players aged seven and above to experience fun and competitive gaming in a whole new dimension.“
Suitable for children, parents and even grandparents, Darkstar Laser allows up to 40 players to take part in a state-of-the-art laser experience using the world’s most advanced equipment. Located within the venue is Cosmo’s: Bar & Pizzeria, which serves up a range of authentic Italian dishes, ice cream, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.
Lynn added: “Come rain or shine, we provide a novel day out in which all of the family can get involved in. Whether parents prefer to sit back and relax in comfortable surroundings or enjoy a slice of the action, laser tag fun certainly has no age limit.“
