Hunter secures double letting at Exchange Quay
Marketing agency gyro and personal injury claims company ACH Group Management have signed up for space at Number 8 Exchange Quay.
gyro has signed a 10-year lease for 4,021 sq ft at the Salford Quays office development, continuing with its 20-year tenancy at the scheme.
ACH Group Management, meanwhile, has secured 3,144 sq ft on a five-year lease.
The deals bring the total lettings at Exchange Quay over the last 12 months past the 100,000 sq ft mark.
The 433,637 sq ft office scheme, owned by real estate investment firm Hunter, has undergone a £10m investment programme to upgrade its six buildings to Grade-A specification.
Shaz Sulaman, of ACH Group Management, said: “Our new, larger offices at Exchange Quay will enable us to expand in line with our long-term growth plans for the business.
“The location and modern office space at Exchange Quay works well for us and it is a great environment for our staff.”
The six buildings at Exchange Quay, which has its own Metrolink tram stop, range from 26,151 sq ft to 116,684 sq ft.
Hunter investment director Jeremy Birkett-Jones commented: “Exchange Quay has been given a whole new lease of life and it is fantastic to walk around the development and see how thriving it has become with our occupiers making full use of the new amenity offering.
“We are pleased to accommodate gyro and ACH Group Management at Exchange Quay as the lettings momentum shows no signs of slowing.”
Canning O’Neill and Savills are joint agents on the scheme.
Andrew Cooke, an office agency surveyor with Savills, said: “Both occupiers were seeking quality, well-located space within a great environment for their staff and Exchange Quay matched their requirements.
“The investment into the development has proven incredibly successful in attracting and retaining occupiers and we are looking forward to welcoming more tenants in due course.”
