Agency scores a hat-trick in PR shortlist!

Ilkley-based Approach PR is celebrating success after being shortlisted in three categories for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ PRide Awards.

The six-strong consultancy, which has over 24 industry and business awards is in the running for Regional Campaign of the Year, STEM Campaign and Best Use of Media Relations.

The 2016 shortlist commends the effective campaigns undertaken on behalf of clients Smoke Barbecue, Airedale Chemical and the WI Centennial Fair run by Upper Street Events.

Managing director of Approach PR and former Business Woman of the Year, Suzanne Watson, said: “It is an absolute honour to be shortlisted for three categories in the PR industry’s most recognised awards – a testament to our hardworking and talented team.

“To receive a hat-trick demonstrates Approach PR’s dedication in delivering successful, creative, results-driven campaigns. We look forward to celebrating another prosperous year for PR in our region alongside industry peers.” Suzanne added.

The annual CIPR PRide Yorkshire and Lincolnshire awards, which celebrates the most talented agencies and outstanding campaigns in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, will be held at The Queens, Leeds ‪on 17 November.

Approach PR, which specialises in media relations, social media, B2B public relations and event and campaign management, is also celebrating its 15thanniversary, a re-brand, five client wins in six months and two in-house promotions this year.
