Gregory Property Group granted planning consent for 12 Pudsey townhouses

The residential arm of Leeds-based developer Gregory Property Group has secured planning consent for a dozen new houses in Pudsey.

Gregory acquired the land, located off Intake Road, after it became vacant following years of use as a commercial site. Previously, the land was occupied by Wood-Mitchell Building Group.

With work now underway, Gregory expects to complete the scheme, which comprises 12 two-bedroom townhouses aimed at first-time buyers, by Spring 2017.

Andrew Foggitt, Gregory Property Group’s commercial director, said: “We are pleased to be able to progress this particular scheme which is situated in a popular residential location in the heart of Pudsey.

“A lot of the immediate area has been transformed to provide much needed housing, and in line with current government guidance, we are converting this former manufacturing site into residential use to enable first time buyers to get onto the housing ladder.”

Estate and letting agency William H Brown has been tasked with marketing the development.

Katie Gibson, new homes manager at Sequence UK Ltd, which incorporates William H Brown, commented: “We are delighted to be working with the Gregory Group and very much look forward to being part of this exciting new development.

“We will be holding a pre site launch in our Pudsey office within the next couple of months.”
