Customer contact firm favoured by BMW and Topshop snapped up in deal worth up to £8m
London-based customer contact specialists Klick2Contact have been acquired by technology group Eckoh in a deal that could be worth up to £8m.
The Hertfordshire technology business, which specialises in secure payment and contact centre services, have agreed to stump up an initial £2.35m with a further £5.65m available provided certain EBITDA targets are met over the next two years.
Headquartered in Hatton Garden, Klick2Contact provide a range of live contact centre support tools, including live web chat, instant callback and social media management for clients including BMW and Next.
Following today’s announcement to the Stock Exchange, Nik Philpot, Chief Executive Officer of Eckoh, commented: “We have a focused acquisition strategy, looking to find proven, profitable and growing businesses which bring us complementary technologies or reach.
“The acquisition of Klick2Contact is absolutely in line with these criteria and we are extremely pleased to be adding its excellent product set, expertise and clients to Eckoh’s portfolio.”
Graham Pollard, Chief Executive Officer at Klick2Contact, said the firm was thrilled to be joining forces as it would allow them to provide a ‘truly Omni-channel offering’ for customer engagement.
