New wave of recruits planned at Ramside Hall's £8m hotel spa
The Spa at Ramside at Ramside Hall Hotel, situated near Durham, has reported a strong first year in business, with the business set to double the number of therapists it employs at the site.
Since opening in August last year, the £8m spa has catered to both hotel members and day guests and says it will increase therapist numbers from 15 up to 30, due to continued increase in demand.
Jill Russell, Spa Director, explained: “The response to the spa and the range of treatments we offer has been beyond expectations,.
“And to cope with the demand, we are looking to employ 15 additional therapists, on both a full and part time basis.”
The spa offers facilities including five pools, with one of the UK’s biggest hydrotherapy pools and an outdoor infinity pool, 14 treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, sleep sanctuary, thermal suite, beauty snug, Fusion Asian restaurant and a hairdressing salon.
Jill added: “As we offer an extensive range of treatments and packages, we will provide full ESPA training to new recruits, as well as training for our specialist Wellness for Cancer programme.”
