Leeds creative player joins up with West Ham United for kit launch
Brawl, the Leeds-based content agency and big player in the Yorkshire creative scene, has been called upon by Premier League football club West Ham United to manage the digital strategy around the launch of its new kit.
The creative firm masterminded a ‘Home for Heroes’ campaign, which links the kit launch with the London club’s new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park stadium where it will play its home games from this season onwards.
Staged across the club’s YouTube and Facebook channels, the launch was hosted by TV presenter Mark Wright and YouTube star Spencer Owen and called upon key players from the West Ham squad to show off the new kit.
Following the launch Martin Jones, managing director at Brawl, said: “West Ham United has a lot to celebrate with its fantastic new stadium and growing fan base. We wanted to ensure that the campaign set a new standard for kit launches and created unprecedented levels of digital engagement.”
Brawl are based out of Leeds base and counts the likes of Halfords, Silver Cross and Superdrug amongst its clients.
Commenting on the launch Daniel Huson, marketing manager at West Ham United said: “The launch of the new home kit had to be a landmark for both the new Store and to showcase our new Stadium.
“The launch is designed to be visually spectacular, to attract media interest, and make fans feel involved and give them a sense of occasion.”
