“In a prime location, Holiday Inn Express TraffordCity is ideally suited to serve the huge numbers of both leisure and business travellers visiting EventCity, intu Trafford Centre and the wider TraffordCity area.”
He continued: “The planned arrival of the TfGM Metrolink line in several years’ time will only increase the hotel’s appeal.
“We’re looking forward to working directly with EventCity to offer streamlined services to visitors, and also with the Topland Group, joint funders of this hotel.”
In addition to its position on the doorstep of intu Trafford Centre and EventCity, Holiday Inn Express TraffordCity is set to benefit from the surrounding 3.5 million sq ft of leisure, retail and commercial space forming the wider TraffordCity development.
Edward Matthews, a spokesperson for Topland Group, commented: “Located opposite EventCity and very close to intu Trafford Centre, this new Holiday Inn Express represents an excellent debut for the new joint venture with Marick and Mill Lane Estates.
“The hotel will definitely be the first choice for guests visiting EventCity.”
