Telecoms firm Quortus snaps up new HQ to capitalise on growing customer base

Quortus, the telecoms software company, has announced it is to relocate its corporate headquarters and engineering centre to a new facility in Camberley as it looks to capitalise on year-on-year growth.

Its new 7,500 sq ft property in Camberley has been specifically chosen thanks to its proximity to London, as well as the close presence of a cluster of high-tech, defense and communications companies and the University of Surrey’s research and development facilities.

The currently Guildford-based firm provides software for mobile network operators, utilising ‘mobile edge computing’ that allows them to offer better-tailored user experiences via a mobile network to consumers and businesses.

Commenting on the business’ new base, Andy Odgers, who founded the firm and is its Chief Executive Officer, said: “Consistent year-on-year growth in our business has seen us outgrow our current location.

“Thanks to the efforts of our experienced development team, we’ve established first mover advantage in key technology areas; and our determination to provide best-in-class customer support has seen headcount grow in that area, too.

“The new Camberley facility will provide an outstanding working environment for these expanding teams, who are absolutely key to our current and future success. We’re now set up to move the company to the next level.”
