Stockport business wins top industry prize
Award-winning Stockport business, Valour Finance Group, has been honoured at the prestigious Credit Today awards.
The firm, which was named Business of the Year at last year’s Stockport Business Awards, was given the Best Fundraising or Volunteering Campaign Award, for its outstanding record of charity work in the region.
Valour’s lending arm – Savvy.co.uk was also a finalist for the Best Alternative Lender prize.
Mark Bowker, CEO of Valour Finance Group, said: “We are incredibly proud to have the work we do locally recognised at a national level.
“It is a real boost to the team who work tirelessly for good causes in the Stockport area and I am hugely proud of all involved.”
All Valour’s 100-strong team are offered 16 hours paid leave to carry out volunteer work for their favourite charity or in the local community.
Mark said: “We are committed to driving forward the business by investing in the latest innovations to make life better for our clients. However, we also want to make a real difference in our local community so we encourage all our staff to play an active role in our charity initiatives.”
