Centrify Appoints New EMEA Vice President
Centrify, the leader in securing enterprise identities against cyberthreats, has strengthened its EMEA leadership team with the announcement today of Andy Heather as its Vice President and Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Andy joins from HP where he led its EMEA Data Security team and brings with him over 25 years of IT experience in sales, sales management, engineering and professional services.
“One of our key goals over the coming year is to continue the growth of our EMEA operation in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) space, particularly in Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and we are delighted to be able to appoint someone with Andy’s experience and understanding of the security market to help us achieve this,” said Tom Kemp, CEO of Centrify.
“The fact that Centrify has been named a leader in Gartner’s Identity and Access Management as a Service Magic Quadrant makes us ideally placed to strengthen our position in EMEA,” said Heather. ’With further validation of our strategy as evidenced by Centrify being named a leader in the Forester Wave for Privileged Identity Management, I am excited at the task ahead and look forward to working with the Centrify team in ensuring our customers and partners across EMEA take full advantage of the possibilities that our unified IAM offerings for IDaaS and PIM present to the market.”
Prior to his role at HP Andy held a number of senior sales management roles at organisations including Tripwire, Affiniti, Opsware, NetApp, Sun Microsystems and IBM.
