Taylor&Emmet expert to run leasehold masterclass
A property management specialist from Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP is to share her experience and expertise at a national workshop for leaseholders, held in the city next month.
Solicitor, Cassandra Zanelli, the firm’s head of property management, will be one of three keynote speakers at the National Leasehold Group’s First Tier Tribunal Masterclass.
This one day workshop, aimed at property officers and managers, will take place at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane ground on September 14. It will provide an insight into the methods and pitfalls of the First Tier Tribunal, where many leasehold disputes are resolved and increase delegates’ understanding of case preparation.
Cassandra will be running the masterclass in conjunction with barrister, Justin Bates from Arden Chambers and leasehold expert, Alan Wake of Cast Consultants. They will be discussing the entire tribunal process, covering issues ranging from relevant case law to understanding costs and other implications.
She said: “I was asked to participate in this event, thanks to my reputation within the industry and excellent working relationship with Justin Bates, with whom I have presented previously. We encourage audience participation and I am looking forward to the lively discussions that will no doubt arise. Leasehold property management can be a minefield and education is crucial to better performance and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, workshops of this nature should lead to less cases reaching tribunals.”
The National Leasehold Group’s First Tier Tribunal Masterclass will run from 9.30am to 4pm and cost £175 per delegate. For more information, or to make a reservation, visit www.nationalleaseholdgroup.co.uk/seminars.asp
