Ryanair reveals first Summer 2017 service from Liverpool airport

Ryanair has expanded its offer at Liverpool John Lennon Airport with the introduction of new flights to southern Italy.

The airline has today (August 17) announced the first route of its Liverpool Summer 2017 schedule with a new service connecting Merseyside with Bari.

The route, which will be the North West’s only service to the coastal city, will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays and marks the first time Bari has been served from Liverpool.

LJLA’s head of PR, Robin Tudor, said: “This is yet another new route to be served from Liverpool and the only flight to Bari from the North West.

“It comes hot on the heels of Ryanair’s news of flights to Marrakech from here, and gives the region’s travellers an even greater choice of destinations from Liverpool.”

Robin Kiely, the head of communications at Ryanair, commented: “Ryanair is pleased to announce a new route from Liverpool to Bari, which starts in March with a twice weekly service, the first of our Summer 2017 routes, with our full schedule set to be unveiled soon.

Last month, Ryanair announced an extension of its Winter 2016 schedule at LJLA with a new route to Morocco.
