Leeds agency Bolser relocates to heart of city’s digital community

Bolser, the Leeds-based digital agency, has completed its relocation to the city centre in th heart of the Leeds Digital community.

The agency has moved from Yeadon to a new base at Marshalls Court in Holbeck.

Bolser’s new office features a pool table and staff relaxation areas as well as onsite research and development rooms where the team tests and showcases their web & mobile app development and AR designs.

To coincide with the move, the agency is s developing an Augmented Reality (AR) app that will allow users to explore the history of the Grade-II listed Marshalls Court building, featuring a virtual tour of the Mill in action during the industrial revolution.

One of the city’s most significant heritage buildings, a former flax spinning mill, Marshalls Mill dates back to 1791 when it was developed by English Industrial pioneer John Marshall.

Having already welcomed all 10 of the agency’s new employees, with new roles spanning a senior front end developer to an in-house consumer psychology graduate, the 25 strong team now resides in Marshalls Court.

The agency is also looking to add five more team members for the positions of senior account manager, back end developer, designer, tester and front end developer.

Ashley Bolser, managing director and a board member on the Leeds Digital Board, said: “We are excited to be in the heart of Leeds’ booming digital community and look forward to being more visible in the industry.

“2016 is proving to be a strong year for us and this move is a commitment to the future of the agency, with a view to us continuing to attract the best talent and service global clients.

“The development of the AR app is a nod to the history and inspiration we are surrounded by but also a chance to show Leeds the potential of this still underused marketing medium.

“It’s a really exciting medium for storytelling and we look forward to revealing how technology can bring history to life through sharing our app for the Mill.“
