The Botanist is set to open its doors in Sheffield this October.

The pub and restaurant, operated by The New World Trading Company, will be located in Leopold Square taking Prince Leopold’s Music Room.

The city centre site will cover a total of 10,000sq ft., arranged over the ground, first and second floor of a Grade-II listed building.

The site will also feature a sizeable outside seating area within Leopold Square and The Music Room located on the second floor.

The Botanist also offers a private dining area, which caters for events, business meetings or Cocktail or Ale Masterclasses.

The Botanist will create up to 100 jobs within the Sheffield City Region.

The new Sheffield venue will be the UK’s tenth Botanist alongside its existing offerings in Manchester, Chester, Alderley Edge, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Marlow, Farnham and most recently Knutsford.

Chris Hill, The New World Trading Company chief executive officer, said: “We are incredibly excited to bring The Botanist concept to Sheffield.

“The character and atmosphere of Leopold Square is the perfect location for our brand and we look forward to making Sheffield our next home.”
