Fashion boost for MediaCityUK’s Lowry Outlet with new Bench store
North West clothing brand Bench has revealed plans to open a new store at MediaCityUK.
The Manchester-headquartered fashion firm is expanding into Lowry Outlet after securing a 2,389 sq ft unit at the waterfront shopping and leisure complex.
The Bench store, which will stock clothing and accessories for men, women and children at outlet prices, joins an expanding fashion portfolio at Lowry Outlet that already includes Next, Gap, M&S, Clarks and other clothing brands.
Jason Pullen, managing director of Peel Outlets, part of the site’s owner Peel Group, said: “Bench is a global lifestyle brand well known for its stylish yet functional clothing and is a very welcome addition to our retail and fashion offer at Lowry Outlet.”
The leasing director of Peel Outlets, Adrian Wright, commented: “Lowry Outlet is creating a major lifestyle and leisure experience and the iconic brand of Bench in this new store will add additional vibrancy to the centre.
“Occupier interest in Lowry Outlet has been strong as we set out to create an offer that expands the centre and, extends its appeal into fashion, whilst complemented as a growing destination for food and film.”
