Grayson wins Thermo King ‘Dealer of Year’ title

A leading air conditioning specialist has marked 15 years of working with Thermo King by securing its prestigious ‘Dealer of the Year’ award.

Grayson Thermal Systems beat off competition from Europe, Middle East and Africa to take the title, after impressing judges with its approach to customer service and aftermarket support.

The Birmingham-based company has enjoyed year-on-year growth, supplying Thermo King air conditioning parts and systems for more than 1000 customers in the bus, coach and rail sectors.

“We are delighted to celebrate our 15th anniversary of working together by securing the ‘Dealer of the Year’ title for the third time,” explained Ian Hateley, Dealer Principal.

“This is a very tough competition and involves some excellent businesses both in the UK and overseas, so illustrates the strength of what we do and how we are delivering the Thermo King product range in a manner that customers appreciate.”

He continued: “A lot of time and money is invested in our sales and servicing team, providing them with the latest product training and equipping them with the best possible skills and tools to ensure maintenance is completed smoothly and any breakdowns rectified quickly.

“Thermo King is a world leader in transportation temperature and climate control and expect the very best levels of ingenuity and attention to detail…two attributes we feel we deliver in abundance.

“Significant investment is channeled into continually improving the product range to incorporate the latest technological advancements…the quality is second to none and customers really buy into it.”

Grayson Thermal System’s dealership is located in a dedicated 12,000 sq ft centre in Elmdon, at the heart of the West Midlands next to the Airport and NEC.

More than 45 people are currently employed here and clients have access to the complete Thermo King product range for bus, coach and rail.

This includes full air conditioning systems, electric cab AC, air moving components, blown air heating systems, compressors, convector heating and coolant moving components.

The company also offers tailored contract maintenance and servicing options to suit all requirements.
