SME finance firm IGF expands into Manchester

SME finance provider IGF is pushing ahead with its UK-wide expansion programme with a new office in Manchester.

IGF’s newly appointed director of asset-based lending (ABL), Richard Spielbichler, will head up the firm’s North West division from Centurion House at 129 Deansgate, in the heart of the city’s financial district.

Richard has 20 years of industry experience, with 12 of those spent at commercial finance firm GE Capital.

He commented: “The North West boasts a thriving economy, particularly in the manufacturing space.

“IGF will be providing the local business community with the support and financing it needs to make the most of the region’s commercial activity.”

The commercial director of IGF ABL, Jon Hughes, commented: “Our people’s expertise and passion for supporting business growth is the driving force behind our expansion and ongoing success.

“With IGF’s increased portfolio of alternative funding options, we’re continuing our mission to provide innovative and dynamic financing solutions to SMEs across the UK.”

Elsewhere, the firm has appointed Jeff Greenfield in the role of ABL director for North London and the Home Counties. Jeff previously worked as director of Santander UK Corporate & Commercial and corporate sales director at financial services group Close Brothers.
