Consultancy entrepreneur poised for further growth after making Darlington move

A Darlington startup is eyeing further expansion after making the move into a co-working facility at Business Central after just six months in business as it looks to expand its consultancy services.

The Change Consultancy was established earlier in the year by entrepreneur Oliver Randall, who set up the business from his home after a career in change management.

Offering consultancy services for businesses looking to implement changes to their structure and processes, the startup is also developing feedback apps which allow customers to provide instant feedback to companies.

Oliver explained that the inspiration for the idea came after a stint working on feedback systems for the NHS where customer feedback provides useful guidance for implementing change.

He said: “Having previously worked with feedback systems within the NHS, I came to realise that feedback apps could work well alongside change management.

“The idea is that the organisation will receive feedback which will drive change to help them improve the customer experience. By having the app it helps the company get ahead of the game using the feedback to continuously grow and improve.”

Now Oliver has set up his new base in the co-working facilities at Darlington serviced office provider Business Central and is already eyeing a permanent space after sealing two new clients from fellow occupants in the centre.

“I am delighted to say that two of the businesses based within the centre have become clients of mine so I have already benefited from being part of the community and the co-working facility.

“As the business continues to grow I will look to expand and have my own office here,” Oliver added.

Centre Manager at Business Central, Vanessa Wood, added: “The Change Consultancy is just one of many businesses who have benefited from using this facility and I look forward to seeing Oliver get his business off the ground and grow.”
