New senior team at UK leasing specialists Axis

A new senior executive team has been appointed at truck and rigid leasing specialists Axis Fleet Management to help drive the company’s continued growth.

New managing director Mick Ledden, who previously worked at Aggreko and Lavendon plc, both market-leading asset management firms, joins Axis after being recruited by Andrew Palmer, former chief executive, who has recently stepped down.

Also recruited were sales director Neil Kinnear, formerly of DHL UK Freight and operations director Bob Fraser, who joins from DX Freight.

This new team has been assembled to develop and grow the business as a leading supplier in its sector.

Axis Fleet Management chairman, Robert Montague CBE, said:

“Their skills will be vital as we look to further establish Axis Fleet Management as one of the leading contract hire organisations in the UK.
