Business energy company recognised by Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100
Business electricity and gas price comparison experts, Love Energy Savings, have been recognised by the 16th annual Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100, as one of Britain’s fastest growing private tech (TMT) companies in 2016.
The league table ranks those TMT companies who have seen the fastest growth in sales over the past three years, and Love Energy Savings’ recent meteoric rise to success has been a fast one!
The company, established in 2007, is now leading the way in digital innovation within the business energy sector, and it is a testament to the foresight of the Love Energy Savings technology team that it has been recognised by such a prestigious award.
The business energy market is one plagued by a lack of transparency and a lack of regulation. Love Energy Savings have been working hard to change this and their technology has played an extremely important part in this.
Their price comparison engine shows prices straight away, it requires no negotiation and there are no hidden costs – the prices are there for the business customer to see in seconds. This is something which is still rare in the business energy market, with many Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs) still insisting on a phone call.
Customers can not only compare prices online but Love Energy Savings were also the first business energy TPI to offer a ‘Buy Online’ option for business energy customers, an offer which has now been replicated by competitors.
Finally, Love Energy Savings are still the only TPI in the business energy market to offer a ‘Track my Switch’ tool which allows the customer to monitor their switch from the moment the contract is agreed to its live date, de-mystifying the switching process.
The fact that the industry is starting to try and replicate Love Energy Savings’ technology is just further evidence of the fact that the business is really propelling the market forward, encouraging it to be more transparent and self-regulated, at a time when Ofgem are still failing to publish an energy market Code of Conduct.
Commenting on the accolade, Managing Director Phil Foster had this to say:
“I can’t begin to express how thrilled we are to receive such prestigious recognition. We know this is just the beginning of even greater things for Love Energy Savings and also for our customers.
“We are working in a sector that lacks transparency and a code of conduct to regulate those who fail to put the customer first. We are different. We designed our technology to make sure that businesses will have access to lower energy prices, saving them money and time.
“By offering a quick, easy and trustworthy alternative, we know that the sector will be required to change if they are to keep up.”
Love Energy Savings were ranked No.99 on the 16th annual Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100.
