Security firm Digital Barriers enters into £2m contract extension with BT
London-based security and surveillance firm, Digital Barriers, has extended its supplier contract with BT Redcare.
The contract extension commits BT to a minimum order commitment of £2m over the next three years and marks a continuation of a supplier arrangement whereby Digital Barriers’ EdgeVis Live video surveillance product is marketed to BT’s clients and customers under the brand name ‘Redcare View’.
BT Redcare is the monitoring, fire and security arm of UK telecommunications giant BT which provides monitored alarm signalling services, CCTV and other secure services to homes and businesses
Zak Doffman, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Barriers commented that the contract extension from a ‘UK market leader’ is a vote of confidence in the firm’s security products.
He said: “We are delighted to continue our relationship with BT Redcare, under which our technology is supplied to the UK public safety market through the UK’s market leader with unrivalled brand and reach.
“This announcement is a further illustration of our continued momentum with major industry partners based on the unique capabilities of our core technologies.”
Founded in 2009, Digital Barriers provides a range of security and surveillance products and, through its US arm Brimtek, has a number of high-profile contract with US law enforcement agencies.
