Stockport manufacturer Indupart creates eight jobs with RBS investment

Indupart, a manufacturer of industrial doors and hardware components, has expanded at Stockport’s Discovery Park thanks to a six-figure investment from the Royal Bank of Scotland.

The company acquired a 28,000 sq ft warehouse near its existing Stockport HQ and created eight jobs on the shop floor, bringing its headcount to 42.

The new facility, which gives Indupart an independent manufacturing workshop and a range of newly installed high-spec machinery, will help the firm ramp up its efficiency as a supplier industrial doors to trade across the UK.

Outside the North West, Indupart operates depots in Hemel Hempstead, Bristol and Glasgow.

Indupart Ltd’s managing director, Robin Taylor, said: “We are delighted to announce our expansion plans in our 30th year of business, which is testament to our business continuing to grow and improve in this competitive industry.

“The Royal Bank of Scotland has supported us since 1986 and we are grateful to them for allowing us to continue our success story.”

RBS relationship manager Matthew Young commented: “Robin is a personable and professional business man to deal with and this attitude is the reason why he has built up a successful company reporting year on year growth.

“We look forward to seeing what’s in store over the next 30 years and supporting the company’s future plans.”
